Today is the first day of 2022, and I feel so optimistic about the future. I see a lot of changes going on around me, and it all looks good. Even though the pandemic is still happening, I feel that as a whole, we all want the same thing, which is to be healthy, happy and in love with life.
As I look back over the past year I can see that I have truly accomplished a lot. I feel it’s very important to reflect and see how I got to where I am now. Just a quick look back though, because I am now focused on what my future is about to become. I feel I have done a really good job of balancing my work life, my family life and my fun life.
We had a New Years Eve party last night and everyone that was here is a person that I truly love. And you know what? I found out that they truly love me too. So many people told me that they were so happy they know me, and that I have inspired them to be who they want to be. That really is my wish for everyone, to feel comfortable in their own skin. And not only do I wish for everyone to be who they want to be, but for them to not give a rip about who likes them or not. It’s so important for all of us to care about how we feel first, then we can take care of others. I know if you ever flew on an airplane, you heard the flight attendant say, “If the oxygen masks come down make sure you put yours on first before you help others.” You see, if you don’t take care of yourself first, how can you help anyone else? Anyway, that’s what I have found to be true for me.
So, I have been practicing filling myself with love, until my cup runneth over, so that I can now say I am so grateful that my intention of touching many hearts has become a reality. I’m so glad that I had an influence in their life. It warms my heart that I can communicate what is going on with me on my journey, that I am teaching by example. Because, as you may know, words don’t teach. It’s through trial and error and trying again that gives us the experiences that teach us what feels right to our own selves. And never give up on your dreams is one lesson I truly communicate through my actions. I have been writing for over ten years now and it’s really starting to pay off. I have two traditional publishers offering me contractacts for three books. I’m surely grateful to the Universe for guiding me to do and go and meet the right people that are helping me achieve my dreams along my glorious path. You see, I have finally learned that the joy really is in the journey. And that now is the only time that is important. Especially since the pandemic started I feel it’s important to enjoy as many moments as possible. We never know what the future holds, but as long as we are happy as much as we can be in any given moment, we are successful.
So, now I have a new intention. And that is to teach great numbers of people, of all ages, the magic of self-love and pure love. It’s something I can’t explain, but it’s like I look at everyone and everything with new eyes. And my heart is fully open to give and receive love at all times. It is the happiest feeling I know. It makes me free to be the creative being I am. And my hope is that more people learn to love themselves. Remember, nothing changes overnight. But by being tenacious and following your gut feelings you will be able to succeed as well.
So, Happy New Year everyone! Let’s make 2022 the best year ever. We deserve it. And remember there is always humongous love for you here.
